Time Flies

Ok, I'll admit it. I'm a horrible "blogger". Since my last update, we've left Lecce Italy and also left Albania after spending several months there including the towns of: Durres, Vlore, Saranda, Gjirokaster, Berat and Ksamil. Wow, I forgot Tirana and our visit to Corfu Greece.

As I look at all of our pictures, I am so thankful for all the incredible things we've seen and grateful for all the wonderful people we've met along the way.

I am especially thankful that we've been able to do this on an income that is considered on the low end by United States standards. Why am I mentioning this? As an encouragement to others who would like to travel but feel that they don't have the necessary resources to do so.

It did require some actions that some would consider extreme: we sold our home, vehicle and nearly all of our worldly possessions. We also limit our travels to more affordable countries and visit more expensive areas in the off season.

As we plan our return trip back to the US in November, we do have concerns and questions like these that pop into our mind: do we return to RV life or can we afford to rent an apartment back in the US?, should we continue to be nomads or is it time to settle down?  🤔

We don't know what the future holds for us but we do know that this nomadic chapter in our lives has been an incredible experience and one that we are truly grateful for 🥰.
