Montenegro & Croatia

We love the Balkans: awesome scenery and wonderfully kind and helpful locals.  While in Kotor Montenegro, we had a joke that we would share while admiring the beautiful scenery. We would look at each other and say "this isn't real". It was just too beautiful and we felt like we were living inside a postcard. 😊

Cats are everywhere in Kotor and in Split Croatia. Many of the tourists and locals have taken on the responsibility of feeding them and we've also seen food dishes and water bowls set up in front of local businesses. 

While in Croatia, we went on a short side trip to Krka National Park. WOW, is the best word to describe this incredible area packed with waterfalls. 

Pictures really don't capture the true beauty of the area. 

We are presently in the Puglia area of Italy and we will soon be returning to one of our favorite countries, Albania.  As Christmas draws near, we are eternally grateful for so many different things. Every day on this beautiful planet is truly a gift.
