Future Plans

So we decided that we are going to take our nomadic lifestyle abroad in 2025. 😲  That's a big step for us since neither of us have ever been to Europe but we are setting our sights on Albania. We have already booked accommodations and have reserved a "Repositioning Cruise" which is a cheap way to travel to Europe since the cost is reduced because it is a one-way cruise.  

In the meantime, we are enjoying our short-term rentals that we have found through Furnished Finders and Airbnb.  Although way more expensive than living in our van, monthly stays are offered at a reduced rate on both these renting platforms so it seems to be working out really well for us.  What is utterly amazing is how much stuff we are able to pack into our teeny tiny Mitsubishi Mirage including our kayak on top and bicycles on the back. 

So our first monthly stay was in Milton Florida so we could take care of our doctor and dental appointments.  We really like the town of Milton and the location of our rental was just perfect; close to all our medical offices and not too far from Navarre Beach. 

We really enjoyed biking and hiking on the Blackwater River Heritage trail and we had a favorite spot in downtown Milton, under the bridge, to fish. 

We are presently in Western North Carolina near the Nantahala River and although the weather hasn't been cooperating, we are thoroughly enjoying the area and all that it has to offer.
